Even if to assume that the authority watches over their opponents 24 hours a day, as it is asserted by the police, and knows about our intentions long before the alleged events, still no one was exempted from enforcing the law. At least in the Basic Law of our country it is written in black and white that the state and all its bodies and officials act within the Constitution and legislative acts passed in accordance with it (Article 7).
They asked the head of the Ministry of Education to execute the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus unconditionally as the country’s Basic Law, as well as the international standards of law in the area of civil rights and freedoms.
Parents of Belarusian-speaking student, Aliaksei Lapitsky and Sviatlana Lapitskaya made its strongest protest directly to the Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus, Mr. Aliaksandr Radzkou, in response to just another formal reply from Ministry of Education.
On 19 September, police summoned democratic activists Uladzimir Malerchuk, Alaiksei Syudak and Ales Narkevich in Vailejka. A protocol on administrative violation was drawn up against them. They are charged with violation of the law “On Mass Events” during the installation of crosses in memory of the repressed people. The case will go to court next week.
